Amendment #543 to H4700

Mel King Institute

Ms. Elugardo of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7002-0036, line number 3, after the words "urban communities", adding the words:

 

"Provided further that $250,000 be expended to the Mel King Institute for Community Building to provide online training and digital learning courses in affordable housing financing, small business development, and other entrepreneurial and economic development and management topics to state-certified Community Development Corporation board members and professionals, Housing Authority boards, affordable housing resident leaders, and other community-based groups, especially in underinvested majority BIPOC communities across Massachusetts.”
