Amendment #634 to H4700

Higher Education Programming

Ms. Khan of Newton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 8900-1100, in line 9, by inserting after the word “programs” the following:- “; and provided further, that not less than $110,000 shall be expended for the department of correction to cover costs associated with coordinating and supporting partnerships with higher education institutions that provide post-secondary education programs in state prisons”; and in said item by striking out the figures "$5,692,757.00" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$5,802,757.00".
