Amendment #635 to H4700

EAEDC Eligibility Change

Mr. Coppinger of Boston moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"Section XXXX. Section 3 of chapter 117A of the General Laws, as amended by section 46  of Chapter 24 of the Acts of 2021, is hereby further amended by inserting at the end of the second paragraph, the following:

provided, however, that individuals living in a rest home licensed under M.G.L. Chapter 111, shall not be eligible for assistance under the provisions of this chapter if they have assets in excess of $2,000.00."
