Groundwork Lawrence - Climate Resilience

Representatives Devers of Lawrence and Minicucci of North Andover move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2000-0100, in line 5, by inserting after “Laws” the following: "; provided further that not less than $75,000 shall be expended to Groundwork Lawrence for the purpose of expanding current climate-resilient initiatives in Lawrence, specifically through energy efficiency including planting additional trees in urban areas, weatherization outreach and education, and providing climate education to help reduce gas emissions and improve air quality in the city"; and in said item 2000-0100, by striking out the figure “$14,800,780” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “$14,875,780”.
