Amendment #674 to H4700

City of Lawrence's Council on Aging

Representatives Devers of Lawrence and Minicucci of North Andover move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 9110-9002, in line 6, by inserting after “affairs” the following: "; provided further that not less than $175,000 shall be expended to the City of Lawrence's Council on Aging, for the purpose of repairing and bringing to code The Center's kitchen, which is used every day to serve upwards of 325 Meals on Wheels to homebound elders, prepare congregant meals for the community, and more"; and in said item 9110-9002, by striking out the figure “$22,366,019” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “$22,541,019”.
