SNAP Transportation Benefits

Mr. Livingstone of Boston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 4403-2008, in line 1 by striking out the following:

“For transportation benefits for supplemental nutrition assistance program recipients who are participating in the SNAP work program” and inserting in place thereof the following:

“For participant support payments to pay for or reimburse supplemental nutrition assistance program applicants and recipients for expenses that are reasonably necessary and directly related to participation in the SNAP Path to Work program.”
