Amendment #18 to H4791

Public Meeting Before Signing Host Agreement

Mr. Frost of Auburn moves to amend the bill, as amended, by adding the following section:

“SECTION XX. Subsection (d) of section 3 of chapter 94G of the General Laws, as amended by section 23 of chapter 55 of the acts of 2017, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following:-

A public meeting shall take place prior to the signing of the host community agreement, unless the host community agreement is waived by the community and therefore shall take place prior to applying for a license with the commission.”
