Demographic Representation in Cannabis Social Equity Trust Fund Recipients

Mr. González of Springfield moves to amend the bill, as amended, Mr. González of Springfield moves to amend amendment 6 by striking the amendment in its entirety and inserting in place thereof the following:-

Mr. González of Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 11 by inserting after the word “loans”, in line 218, the following words:- ; provided, that when selecting recipients the secretary, in consultation with the advisory board, shall take into consideration the racial, ethnic and gender demographics of the municipality in which the recipient businesses are located.
