Floor Amendment

Ms. Garlick of Needham moves to amend the bill in section 1, in line 1, by inserting after the word “contrary” the following words: “, but subject to chapter 6E of the General Laws”;

And by inserting after the second sentence of section 1 the following sentence:- “Charles Vorderis shall, while continuing to serve as a police officer of the city of Newburyport, comply with all requirements of chapter 6E of the General Laws, including: (i) maintaining certification and good standing with the Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission; and (ii) complying with all in-service and other training requirements mandated by the municipal police training committee.”.
