Using Technology to Provide Access to Behavioral and Mental Health Services

Mr. Coppinger of Boston moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION XXXX.  In order to address access to behavioral and mental health services the office of Medicaid shall investigate the feasibility, advisability and potential utilization of evidence-based, scalable, conversational virtual human interactions designed to triage patients and provide technologically-driven pathways to virtual care and/or human providers to improve patient outcomes.
