Mental Health Sick Days for Public School Students

Ms. Gouveia of Acton moves to amend the bill Moves to amend the bill by inserting after Section 4 the following section: “Section 4A. Section 1 of chapter 76 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “months”, in line 25, the following words:- ; provided, that cases of necessary absence shall include absences for the mental or behavioral health of the student.”
