Amendment #1 to H4931

An Act relative to improving pesticide protections for Massachusetts schoolchildren

Mr. Gentile of Sudbury move to amend the bill by inserting after SECTION 9 the following section:

"SECTION  XXXX. Chapter 132B Section 6G of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking Section 6G (a)-(d) and inserting the following:

(a)  A pesticide classified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as an exempt material pursuant to 40 C.F.R. 152.25, as amended; or

(b)  A pesticide including no active ingredients other than those published in the National List at 7 C.F.R 205.601, as amended."
