Amendment #131 to H5007

Charitable Tax Deduction

Mr. Ultrino of Malden moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"Section XXXX. Subparagraph (13) of paragraph (a) of Part B of section 3 of chapter 62 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting in line 141, after the word “Code” the following:

Taxpayers shall receive a deduction at five percent of the first $10,000 in charitable contributions made during the taxable year that are allowable under this section.”
