Amendment #573 to H5007

COVID reporting

Mr. Murray of Milford moves to amend the bill by adding the following section.

Section XXXX-XXXX:

SECTION 1:  Notwithstanding the reporting requirements in Section 1 of Chapter 93 of the Acts of 2020, each report required shall occur no less than once weekly beginning July 18, 2022.

SECTION 2: Chapter 93 of the Acts of 2020 is hereby amended by striking sections 6 and 7 and inserting in place thereof the following new section: Section 6.  Section 5 shall take effect 90 days after the rescission of the May 28, 2021 declaration of a state of emergency pursuant to section 2A of chapter 17 of the General Laws or December 31, 2022, whichever occurs first.

SECTION 3: Section 1 shall be repealed 90 days after the rescission of the May 28, 2021 declaration of a state of emergency pursuant to section 2A of chapter 17 of the General Laws or December 31, 2022, whichever occurs first.
