Increasing access to judicial information technology in Springfield

Mr. González of Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 0330-6000, in line 27, by inserting after the word "security," the words "provided further that not less than $500,000 shall be expended to New England Partners in Faith and Omnipoint Technology for the purpose of providing affordable and free internet service to the lowest income residents, with limited internet access, impacted by the Judicial system, so that they may access virtual filing and appearance services of the court, court services, and public safety services in Liberty Heights, Memorial Square, South End, Old Hill, Upper Hill, Six Corners, Bay, Pine Point, McKnight neighborhoods and any other low-income neighborhood of Springfield"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$94,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$94,500,000”
