Recording and Posting of Committee Votes

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Ferguson of Holden, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the order in proposed Rule 1D by striking, in lines 159-163, inclusive, the words “The aggregate tally of members voting in the affirmative, members not voting and members reserving their rights on an individual petition at an executive session or poll of a committee shall be posted on the website of the General Court and the names of members voting in the negative on an individual petition at an executive session or poll of a committee shall be posted on the website of the General Court.” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “Any recorded votes on a favorable or adverse report on an individual bill, taken by roll call or electronic poll of each member, shall be posted on the website of the General Court.”
