An Act establishing speed limits on portions of Route 28 and Chickatawbut Road in the town of Milton.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a speed limit of 25 miles per hour for the intersection of state highway route 28 and Chickatawbut road, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public safety.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding chapter 90 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the motor vehicle speed limit for the approaches to the intersection of state highway route 28 and Chickatawbut Road, a department of conservation and recreation park road, in the town of Milton and for the intersection itself shall be 25 miles per hour. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the department of conservation and recreation shall post the speed limit and take all actions necessary to implement the established speed limit.
