MBTA Board Geographic Representation

Ms. Moran and Mr. Collins move that the proposed new text be amended by striking out, in section 13, in line 631, the figure “5” and inserting in place thereof:- “9” and by inserting, in line 639, the following words:- “In appointing members, the governor shall ensure that each of the following geographic regions of the commonwealth is represented: the central area, the greater Boston area, the metro-west area, the northeast area, the southeast area, the Cape and Islands, and the western area.”
