Local Cultural Council Membership

Mr. Hinds moves that the proposed new text be amended by adding at the end thereof the following new section:-

"SECTION XX. Section 58 of Chapter 10 of the General Laws be amended by striking out the second sentence in the fourth paragraph and inserting the following: -'The chief appointing authority and members of the local appropriating authority, as defined in M.G.L. Chapter 59, Section 21C, cannot serve as council members.'."
