Redraft Amendment 41

Food waste diversion

Messrs. Tarr and O'Connor move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section _ the following new section:-

"SECTION_. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary the department of environmental protection shall develop and implement a plan on food waste diversion including but not limited to establishing grant programs.

Said plan and recommendations shall be submitted to the clerks of the house and senate by December 31, 2021."
