Municipal Cost Estimates

Ms. Moran, Ms. Gobi, Mr. O'Connor and Ms. DiZoglio move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting the following section:-

SECTION X. Not later than March 1, 2022, the state secretary shall deliver an estimated cost to municipalities of implementing Sections 7, 11, and 20 of this Act, including, but not limited to, the cost of any technological updates and any additional staffing, to the Joint Committee on Ways and Means, Joint Committee on Election Laws, and the Clerks of the House and Senate.
