Housing Stability Community Based Organization Grant Program

Messrs. Gomez and O'Connor, Ms. Gobi and Mr. Moore move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2A, by adding the following new item:- "1599-XXXX For a reserve to support local tenant outreach and assistance for, but limited to, non-profit organizations and community-based organizations working with residents in disproportionately impacted communities to provide information about available emergency resources and to assist households with applying for emergency rental assistance and other housing stability services, to be administered through the Department of Housing and Community Development; provided, that funds shall be expended in the form of grants and other financial assistance to non-profit organizations and community based organizations; and provided further, that funds shall be expended fully and on a schedule consistent with section 9B of chapter 29 of the General Laws………………………………$5,000,000."
