Maximizing Opportunities For Preservation Of Affordable Housing

Ms. Jehlen, Mr. Eldridge, Ms. Chang-Diaz, Messrs. Kennedy and Moore move that the proposed new text be amended in Section 2A, in item 1599-2022, by adding the following words:-

“; provided further, that preservation efforts in this item shall include the acquisition of existing, occupied or unoccupied, multifamily rental housing that is not currently subject to affordability restrictions at the municipal or state level”.
