Inclusion of Gateway Cities and Environmental Justice Populations

Messrs. Gomez, Montigny and Collins move that the proposed new draft be amended in Section 40, in line 614, by inserting after the words “marginalized communities” the following words:- “, including, but not limited to, environmental justice populations, as defined in Section 62 of Chapter 30 of the General Laws, as amended by Section 56 of Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2021, and gateway municipalities, as defined in Section 3A of Chapter 23A".
