Oral History

Messrs. Tarr, Lesser, Timilty and Feeney move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section _ the following new section:-

"SECTION_. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary the secretary of veterans services in conjunction with secretary of state shall establish and create an Oral History Project the purpose of which is to preserve and record the stories of the Veterans of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts living in the Veterans Homes. Participation in said project shall be voluntary.  The project shall once a year update the office of veterans services on any stories transcribed and the names of those veterans that provided them."
