Amendment #1 to S2799

Floor Amendment

Ms. Garlick of Needham moves to amend the bill, as amended, by striking out sections 11 and 12 and inserting in place thereof the following 3 sections:

“SECTION 11. Subsection (f) of said section 3-1 of said article 3 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board.

SECTION 12. Said subsection (f) of said section 3-1 of said article 3 of said charter is hereby further amended by striking out the word “selectman”, each time it appears, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board member.

SECTION 12A. Said Subsection (f) of said section 3-1 of said article 3 of said charter is hereby further amended by striking out the word “selectmen”, each time it appears, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following words:- select board members.”.
