Tax Credit for Home Charging Stations

Messrs. Finegold and O'Connor, Ms. Moran and Mr. Tarr move that the proposed new text be amended in section 25, by inserting after line 216, the following:-

"(3) The program shall also include a tax credit against the individual’s state tax liability in an amount not to exceed $2,000 for expenses related to the installation of a vehicle charging station at the individual’s place of residence. The credit shall apply only for the tax year in which the expenses are incurred."
