Storage Supporting EJ Cooling Centers

Mr. Gomez, Ms. Rausch, Ms. Gobi, Mr. Lesser and Ms. Comerford move that the proposed new text be amended in subsection (b) of Section 44, in lines 526-527, by striking the words “and; (v)” and inserting in place thereof the following:- 

"(v) minimize ratepayer costs; and (vi) contribute to decarbonization and operational resilience of critical emergency infrastructure, including but not limited to, cooling centers designed to provide relief for vulnerable urban residents from extreme heat that are co-located in schools, senior centers, libraries, health centers."
