Directing Sports Wagering Revenue to Support Childcare

Ms. Moran and Mr. O'Connor move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting the following new section:-

"SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, fifteen percent of net revenue from Chapter 23N shall be directed to the department of early education and care for stabilization grants to licensed early education and out-of-school-time programs regardless of whether the program serves subsidized or private-pay children."
