Category 2 Evaluation Criterion

Messrs. Crighton and Pacheco, Ms. DiZoglio, Ms. Moran, Messrs. Tarr and Feeney move that the proposed new text be amended in SECTION 8, in lines 295-297, by striking the words “and (v) any other factor the commission determines is necessary to maximize the benefits to the commonwealth or to promote responsible sports wagering.” and inserting in place thereof the following:- "(v) the applicant’s historical involvement in the racing and simulcasting industry in the commonwealth and in the processing of legal wagering in the commonwealth; and (vi) any other factor the commission determines is necessary to maximize the benefits to the commonwealth or to promote responsible sports wagering."
