Inclusion of the community liaison

Ms. Chandler moves that the proposed new text be amended by adding the following new section:-

“SECTION XX.  Section 8 of chapter 90 of the General Laws is hereby amended as appearing in the 2020 Office edition by inserting after the phrase Registrar of motor vehicles 'with the assistance of the community liaison;' section 8B is hereby amended by inserting after the term registrar in line ‘if the registrar has reasonable cause to suspect' 'with the assistance of the community liaison'; and section 57A of chapter 6c is hereby amended by inserting after the term chair 'the community liaison with technical, DEI training and legal knowledge'.”
