Liberty Street

Mr. Gomez moves that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1100-2516, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $850,000 shall be expended to the department of public works in the city of Springfield for the paving of Liberty street to enhance pedestrian and driver safety from the department of state police station B-3 to the Springfield plaza "; and by striking out the figure "$1,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$1,850,000".
