Mr. Gomez moves that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1100-2516, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $360,000 shall be expended to the department of public works in the city known as the town of West Springfield for construction on Birnie avenue in the city known as the town of West Springfield"; and

by striking out the figure "$1,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$1,360,000".
