Mr. Gomez moves that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1100-2516, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $300,000 shall be expended to the department of public works in the city of Chicopee for road reconstruction on Whitin avenue and Chester street; provided further, that not less than $175,000 shall be expended to the department of public works in the city of Chicopee for road resurfacing on Chester street and Wilson avenue "; and by striking out the figure "$1,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$1,475,000".
