Lost funds to law enforcement

Mr. Tarr, Ms. Gobi and Mr. Timilty move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after section _ the following new section:-

"SECTION_. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary the executive office of public safety and security shall develop a plan to determine the amount of money or proceeds received by a police department, prosecuting attorney that will be transferred to the trust fund established under SECTION 3 of this act and shall develop a plan on how the police department and district attorney's office will replace said money or proceeds transferred to the trust fund. Said report and plan shall be submitted to the clerks of the house and senate. The provisions of this act shall go into effect 60 days after submission of the plan required under this section."
