Councils and Commissions Membership

Ms. Rausch moves that the proposed new draft be amended in section 11, in line 120, by inserting after the words “early education and care;” the following words:- “1 member who shall be a center-based provider of early education and care appointed by the commissioner of early education and care;”; and

in said section 11, in line 120, by striking the figure “19” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “22”; and

in said section 11, in line 139, by inserting after the word “Inc.” the following words:- “1 of whom shall be a representative of the Common Start Coalition, 1 of whom shall be a representative of Neighborhood Villages, Inc., 1 of whom shall be a representative of Alliance for Business Leadership, Inc.,”; and

in section 12, in line 178, by striking the figure “10” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “14”; and

in said section 12, in line 189, by inserting after the words “Strategies for Children, Inc.;” the words:- “1 of whom shall be a representative of Neighborhood Villages Inc., 1 of whom shall be a representative of Alliance for Business Leadership, Inc., 1 of whom shall be a family child care provider; 1 of whom shall be a center-based provider of early education and care; and

in section 16, in line 364, by striking the figure “10” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “14; and

in said section, in line 373, by inserting after the words “Children, Inc.” the following words:- “1 of whom shall be a family child care provider; 1 of whom shall be a center-based provider of early education and care, 1 of whom shall be a representative of Neighborhood Villages Inc., 1 of whom shall be a representative of Alliance for Business Leadership, Inc.”.
