Regional Equity

Ms. Comerford and Ms. Rausch move that the proposed new draft be amended in section 11, in line 120, by striking out the figure “19” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “21”;

in said section 11, in line 135, by inserting after the word “Commerce” the following words:- 1 of whom shall be a representative of Massachusetts Workforce Association , Inc., 1 of whom shall be a representative of a chamber of commerce located in one of the 5 western Massachusetts counties,”;

in said section 11, in line 147, by inserting after the words “relevant public and private organizations” the following words:- “in geographically diverse regions”;

in said section 11, in line 151, by inserting after the word “providers” the following words:- “in geographically diverse regions”;

in section 16, in line 364, by striking out the figure “10” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “12”; and

in said section 16, in line 370, by inserting after the word “Commerce” the following words:- “2 of whom shall represent a chamber of commerce located in one of the 5 western Massachusetts counties,”.”
