Ms. Lovely moves that the proposed new text be amended in section 2F, in item 6720-2261, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $2,000,000 shall be expended to fund a pilot program in the city of Peabody for a public transit connection between downtown Peabody and the commuter rail station in the city of Salem; provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for improvements to the Brimbal avenue and Dunham road intersection in the city of Beverly; provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for the restoration of the Topsfield linear common in the town of Topsfield; provided further, not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for the western expansion of the Danvers Rail Trail in the town of Danvers”; and by striking out the figure “$1,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$6,000,000”.
