Southcoast Rail Emergency Response

Messrs. Montigny and Pacheco move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2F, in item 6720-2261, by adding the following words:-  “; provided further, that not less than $850,000 shall be expended for emergency responses to passenger rail incidents within the South Coast Rail corridor south and west of the Pilgrim junction in the town of Middleborough by the municipal fire departments in the cities of New Bedford, Taunton and Fall River and the town of Lakeville and for the operation, maintenance and regional deployment of extraction equipment”.
