Legally Protected Healthcare Standards

Ms. Edwards, Ms. DiZoglio and Mr. Tarr move that the proposed new text be amended in section 1, by inserting after the word “location”, in line 18, the following words:- “; and provided further, that ”legally-protected health care activity” shall not include any service rendered below an applicable professional standard of care or that would violate anti-discrimination laws of the commonwealth”; and  in section 4, by inserting after the word “location”, in line 68, the following words:- “; and provided further, that ”legally-protected health care activity” shall not include any service rendered below an applicable professional standard of care or that would violate anti-discrimination laws of the commonwealth”.
