Food Security Infrastructure Grant Program

Ms. DiZoglio, Messrs. Tarr and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 2511-0100, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $15,000,000 shall be expended for the Food Security Infrastructure Grant program, provided, that the appropriation will allocate not more than fifty percent to for-profit enterprises, with priority given to farms and schools, and not less than fifty percent to nonprofit entities”; and by striking out the figure “$8,626,467” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$23,626,467”.
