Chief Probation Officer Salaries

Mr. Moore, Ms. DiZoglio, Messrs. Collins, Timilty, Cronin, Crighton and Brady, Ms. Gobi, Ms. Moran, Messrs. Lesser, Velis, Hinds, O'Connor, Keenan, Feeney and Fattman moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section XX the following section:-

"SECTION XX. Section 99B of chapter 276 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking the word “means.” and inserting in place the following:-

means; provided, however, that the salaries of the chief probation officers of the probate court shall be 81.57 per cent of the salary of the chief justice of said court.  The salaries of the chief probation officers of the Boston municipal court shall be 81.57 per cent of the salary of the chief justice of said court.  The salaries of the chief probation officers of the juvenile court shall be 81.57 per cent of the salary of the chief justice of said court.  The salaries of the chief probation officers of the district court shall be 81.57 per cent of the salary of the chief justice of said court.  The salaries of the chief probation officers of the superior court shall be 81.57 per cent of the chief justice of said court."
