Messrs. Gomez and Lesser moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 0540-1200, by adding the following words:- “provided further that not less than $100,000 shall

be expended to the Hampden County Registry of Deeds for the salary increase of staff to ensure regional equity in salaries”; and by striking out the figure "$1,927,509" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$2,027,509".
