Chronic Disease Management and Telehealth

Mr. Gomez, Ms. Gobi, Messrs. Feeney, Moore and Velis moved that the proposed new text be amended by adding the following new section:-

SECTION XX. Section 56 of chapter 260 of the Acts of 2020 is hereby amended by striking out the definition of "chronic disease management" and replacing with the following new definition:-

“Chronic disease management”, care and services for the management of chronic conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both. Chronic disease management shall also include care for COVID-19 and its long-term symptoms.
