Franklin County public safety reform grants

Ms. Comerford moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8000-0313, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to the Franklin regional council of governments for the purpose of grants to municipalities for costs associated with the implementation of police reform pursuant to chapter 253 of the acts of 2020 or other crisis response efforts and programs"; and in said section 2, in said item 8000-0313, by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$200,000".
