Housing Cooperatives

Mr. Eldridge and Ms. Edwards move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2A, in item 7002-8051, by adding the following words:- "provided further, that not less than $10,000,000 shall be expended for projects that create and enhance access to cooperative resident ownership in order to foster economic opportunity with long-term benefits for housing security, racial equity and health outcomes to address the wealth gap in low-income and socially disadvantaged communities and to preserve existing resident owned cooperatives"; and by striking out the figure "$50,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$60,000,000".
