Electric grid update in the north shore region of the commonwealth

Messrs. Tarr and Finegold, Ms. DiZoglio and Ms. Lovely move that the proposed new text be amended in section 3A, in item 7002-8060, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $2,500,000 shall be expended for costs related to the planning, design and construction for utility upgrades including but not limited to electric upgrades, water and wastewater treatment and collection and fleet modernization for the working waterfront in the city of Gloucester to support economic development and job creation "; and

by striking out the figure “$1,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$3,500,000”.
