Messrs. Gomez, Lesser and Velis moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 3000-1000, by adding the following words:- “provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the Springfield Day Nursery Corporation in the city of Springfield to support at-risk children, address learning gaps and prepare students for school achievement.” and in said Section 2, in said item 3000-1000, striking out the figure "$6,591,537" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$6,641,537".
