State-Wide Youth Sports Activities and Education Funds

Messrs. Velis, Lesser, Finegold, Feeney, Gomez, O'Connor and Montigny and Ms. Edwards moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by inserting at the end thereof the following:- "; provided further, that $250,000 shall be expended for a grant program to support youth sports nonprofit programs that primarily serve low-income or marginalized students and seek to foster improved outcomes in physical health, mental well-being, school participation and sense of community".
