Messrs. Keenan and Eldridge, Ms. Comerford, Mr. Moore, Ms. Jehlen, Ms. Chang-Diaz, Mr. Brady, Ms. DiZoglio, Ms. Moran, Ms. Gobi, Ms. Rausch, Mr. Feeney, Ms. Lovely, Messrs. Timilty, Gomez, O'Connor and Hinds and Ms. Edwards moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7004-9316, by striking out, the first time it appears, the figure “50” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “60”; and

by inserting the following words:- “provided further, that to be eligible for funds or services in 7004-9316, it is not necessary for a household to be subject to the summary process pursuant to chapter 239 or have received a shut-off notice from a utility company; provided further, the department shall authorize forward rent payments and stipends for no fewer than four months of rent to otherwise eligible applicants”.
